Hurricane Dorian is strengthening as we speak into a Cat 2 Hurricane. As it travels NW through the Bahamas, it could strengthen now to a Cat 4. Meteorologists say that it could either make landfall by the Florida keys, or make landfall right by Palm Bay. A high pressure system has ruled out any chance for the hurricane to wonder North into the Carolina's since Hurricanes steer away from high pressure systems. Some more research has revealed that the hurricane may even make landfall at Florida and move right through and come out into the gulf, the restrengthen and head for Alabama, Louisiana as an intense hurricane. For now, it is hard to predict since it is still far out. But big changes are expected to occur in the next day or so with data. Landfall is expected sometime Sunday or Monday which will bring heavy rain, flash flooding, storm surge, and wind gusts up to 150 MPH potentially. Stay Weather Aware and watch the news if you live in this area or have relatives or friends in this area. This is a serious storm.
