SPC has changed the Convective Outlook as expected and the Enhanced Risk now includes DFW. Chances has increased for severe weather for DFW and the instability of the atmosphere has too. The convective process of the day heating could change the severe weather chances as well. The main thing I'm looking at is the instability. Because the instability has grown, storms could explode and become severe very quickly now. This is a chart made to explain the instability now in the Atmosphere. It may look confusing so basically anything under red or purple layers is pretty unstable, especially the purple.
SPC is (I'm guessing) going to issue a Severe Thunderstorm or Tornado Watch due to the risks that are current. More updates will come soon, stay Weather aware. Storms will start to form up Northwest and explode with energy as they drop down into an area of instability as the cold front pushes them Southeast.
So long,
