The Hurricane has finally passed, out of the Bahamas. It stayed in the Bahamas causing cataclysmic damage to both North western Islands. Reports of 200+ MPH winds, devastating 23 foot storm surge flooded inland over most of the islands potentially, and feet of rain came down as the storm remained stationary over the western island for nearly a whole two days. Not only did it slam Marsh Harbor as a strong Cat 5, it also made the record books as the strongest Hurricane EVER in the Bahamas, and the second highest wind speeds EVER recorded. The devastation is real, and already 5 have been killed. Keep these people in your prayers as the storm continues to move on targeting the US.

Great report on the hurricane! How unbelievably scary though!! So many lives, property in jeopardy, destroyed!! The Bahamas need our help —Samaritan’s Purse is a great place to start.
Looking forward to more weather data and interesting weather patterns in your next report. Bring on the cooler weather, please!!!!
The hurricane devastation was terrible but it could have been even worse if it had come inland in Florida. We need to pray for the people of the Bahamas and thank God that it wasn't worse. Thank you Weather Center for your excellent work in reporting accurate weather. Nice job as always.
